Joyce Elaine Krueger left her earthly home to be with Jesus on October 31, 2023 at the age of 77 while spending time with her beloved Husband and Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Fred and Mary (Weber) Weschenfelder. She had two Brothers who also preceded her in death, Fred and Robert Weschenfelder. She was born January 4, 1946 and shares a special birthday with her Grandson Kaleb Keele. Joyce was born in Columbus, Montana and attended school in Park City, Montana. She also received a Dental Assistant Certificate from Seattle Washington Dental School. She was a housewife, seamstress and home health aide. On June 25th 1966 She married Dennis Krueger at First Congregational Church in Laurel Montana. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary this year. She was a Navy wife for the beginning of their marriage and moved to California. They then moved to Park City and eventually to their final home together in Laurel. Together they raised 3 daughters, Julie (Ronald) Marak of Enterprise Kansas, Michelle ( Steve) Kosakowski of Billings Montana, and Kathleen (Shannon) Keele of Laurel Montana. They were blessed with 9 Grandchildren, Ron (Mikaela) ,Travis, Stephanie (Brandon), Sara (Robert), Preston (Taylor), Mariah, Justus (Angel), Kaleb, Liberty and 5 Great Grandchildren
Joyce loved Halloween and looked forward to seeing what costumes all the kids were wearing and how many kids came hoping every year to break the previous record, she was able to spend her last Halloween with some of her Great Grandchildren. Halloween also involved one of her favorite pastimes - feeding people, especially baked goods- ALOT of baked goods. No one ever went away hungry. She also enjoyed feeding those around her spiritually. She taught Sunday School, and Womens bible studies. She loved Jesus and loved serving at her local churches and couldn't limit herself to just one. Joyce loved to read and do crossword puzzles. She was well known for her gift of sewing. Many girls over the years were able to have their dream prom dress or wedding regardless of their ability to pay. She also loved making baby gifts, beautiful blankets, quilts and outfits. She touched so many lives with her love and generosity and will be missed by so many. We invite you to her viewing Monday 11/6/23 from 12 - 730pm at Billings Cremation and Burial Services 29 8th Street West Billings MT 59101, and service at Family Church, 1002 3rd Ave Laurel Montana Tuesday 11/7/23 at 11 am.
