Joyce Mar LeBlanc was born on May 14, 1940, in Cameron, Louisiana to the proud union of Alcide and Melanie LeBlanc. Ms. Joyce Mae Leblanc. She received her early education at Audrey Memorial High School, a state approved Negro school in Louisiana, where she began building a foundation of her lifelong strength, dignity, and perseverance.

At a young age, Joyce accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized. She later united with Greater St. Matthews Baptist Church, where she served faithful and joyfully as a devoted member.

Joyce build a meaningful career with the Houston Independent School District, working diligently as a custodian for many years until her retirement. Never one to sit still, she continue serving other as a beloved live-in nanny, pouring love, values, and wisdom into the childrens blessed to be in her care.

In her leisure time, Joyce enjoyed the thrill of slot machine games and found joy traveling, especially to her favorite destination, Las Vegas. Her warm heart, adventurous spirit, and love for laughter made her a bright light to everyone she encountered.

On January 1, 2026, Joyce Mae LeBlanc peacefully departed the earthly life. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, who welcomed her with open arms.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory her son Averett Troy Manuel; her daughter, Kissner Waynette Manuel; grandson; Tyson Jaheim Stover; along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Joyce's legacy of love, faith, joy, and grace will continue to live on in all those who were touched by her life.
