Joyce E. Lichtenberger

Joyce E. Lichtenberger, 88, of Wyckoff, formerly of Maywood, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025. Before retiring, Joyce enjoyed a long and dedicated career as a legal secretary, working for several firms over the years. She took great pride in her work and was deeply involved in everything she did.
Joyce was an avid sports fan who proudly rooted for the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Yankees, and New York Giants. Her greatest passion, however, was golf. As a member of a women's executive golf club, she loved playing as much as she enjoyed watching the game.
Though she valued her quiet, independent life, Joyce shared her home with her beloved dog, Feffer-whose name, meaning "pepper" in German, perfectly suited his sleek black coat. Joyce also held a special place in her heart for her nieces and nephews, who brought her great joy throughout her life.
Beloved sister of Grace Knapp and her husband Richard. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Frederick H. Lichtenberger.
Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2025 at the George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ. All to gather at the cemetery office.
