Joyce Frances Maciulavicius, a woman of uncommon grace, wisdom, and boundless compassion, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2025 at the age of 83 with loved ones by her side.

She leaves behind a family that reflects her boundless love: the children she raised, the many lives she touched, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her son Joshua , and his father Francis Maciulavicius, and her brothers Joseph and Thomas Keane. Though she has left this world, her spirit lives on in every life she helped shape, and in every act of kindness inspired by her memory.

Joyce opened her heart and home in Candia, NH to countless children in need, serving as a foster mother who provided safety, stability, and hope. Her gift for nurturing others was immeasurable. She did this all while raising six children of her own—each of them adopted, each cherished with unwavering devotion. To her family, Joyce was the anchor in every storm, the encourager in every challenge, and the example of what true generosity looks like in practice. Those who were fortunate enough to know her will remember her not only for her quiet strength and steady guidance, but for the profound love she extended to everyone who crossed her path.

She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those she cherished. Joyce leaves behind a family that adored her, including her children Joanne and husband Tony, John, Sarah, her husband Christopher, Nicholas, Nicole, and her sister in-law Jeanine Keane. She will be forever remembered by her 7 grandchildren, and all others who still think of her as “Mom,” and a community forever grateful for her presence. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the stories shared, the values passed down, and the love she planted in the hearts of so many. May she rest in eternal peace, safe in the arms of God.

A gathering in celebration of Joyce will be held on Friday, December 12 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a prayer service beginning at 12:30 PM, at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester NH.
