Francis Maciulavicius Obituary

Francis R. Maciulavicius, 81, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023.

He was born on April 18, 1941, in Manchester, New Hampshire, a son of the late Jonas and Stella (Biscup) Maciulavicius, having resided in Enfield for 13 years and in Manchester before that. Francis was a graduate of Bishop Bradley H.S., Manchester. He served our country proudly with the U.S. Air Force State side during the Vietnam War. Prior to retiring in 1995, Francis was employed with Hobart Corporation for 25 years. Francis enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fostering children, of which he raised over 150 foster children throughout the years. His favorite quotes were, "stay out of trouble" and "Love you all."

Francis is survived by his children, Joanne Lynch, also his caregiver of over ten years to aid in keeping his independence and her husband, Anthony of Enfield, Sarah Chase of Maine, Nicole Maciulavicius of Taunton, Massachusetts, Nicholas Maciulavicius of New Hampshire, and John Maciulavicius of California; six beloved grandchildren of which he had a special bonding with Taylor Lynch whom he resided with for over 10 years; as well as several nieces and nephews. Francis was predeceased by a son Joshua Adam Maciulavicius; a sister Dorothy Arsenault; and a brother John May.

Funeral services for Francis will be private. Burial will be at the convenience of family in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, Massachusetts.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made to Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield, MA 01105.
