Joyce Marie McDonald

Joyce Marie McDonald was born to Lois and Bobby Osborne Sr. on February 21, 1954; she was the oldest of 8 children. She departed this life at North Alabama Medical Center on September 15, 2024.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville where the service will follow at 2:00 p.m. The Burial will be at Ireland Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Bennie Lynn McDonald. To that union one son was born, Phillip Andrew McDonald of Muscle Shoals; three sisters, Barbara Staggs, and Billie Joanne Osborn both of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and Brenda Hendley (Randy) of Columbia, Tennessee; brother, George Virgil Osborn (Janice) of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; special sister in laws, Judy Dishner of Haleyville, and Carolyn Tyler of Kokomo, Tennessee; a very special grand dog, Brownie; uncles, David Osborn of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Tommy Osborn of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and Ray Grooms of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Sr. and Lois Osborn; brothers, Ray Osborn and Bobby Osborn Jr.; and sister, Janet Leigh Osborn Fazekas.
