Joyce McPheron Obituary
It's with great sadness that the family of Joyce McPheron announces her passing on November 21, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on January 11, 1951, in Joplin, Missouri, Joyce will be remembered for her fierce love of her family, endearing stubbornness and insatiable appetite for chocolate.
Joyce is lovingly remembered by her husband of 54 years, Mike, who somehow managed to keep up with her firecracker personality. She also leaves behind her sister, Janice, and a bustling, ever-growing family tree: her children, Michael, Scott, Charlie, Brandi, and Patrick; her grandchildren, Peyton, Cecilia, Gabe, Sophia, and Alyssa; and her great-grandchildren, Sylvia, Myla, and Beau. Each of them carries a piece of Joyce's feisty spirit and stubborn determination.
In lieu of flowers and visitation, Joyce would want you to hug your loved ones, savor a piece of dark chocolate, and never forget to laugh-especially when life gets messy.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
