David L. McPheron, 84, of Findlay, formerly of Spencerville passed away on February 22, 2026 at The Manor at Greendale in Findlay.

He was born on February 13, 1942 in Lima, Ohio to the late Carl and Mary (Snook) McPheron. David first married Debbie Short and she preceded her in death. On April 27, 1991 David married Alma Manns and she preceded him in death on July 19, 2023.

David retired from the Rose Lawn Manor, where he worked in the Maintenance Dept.

Also surviving are his three daughters: Susan (Chuck) Hempfling of Delphos, Paula (Bill) Ball of Spencerville and Christine (Scott) Graymire of Arcadia; four step-daughters; five grandchildren, Justin (April) Ball, Kyle (Megan) Hempfling, Meagan (Tanner Calvelage) Hempfling, Alicia (Rafael Melo) Hempfling, Lillian (Nick Ditto) Hempfling; four great grandchildren, Jack, Julian & June Hempfling, & Lyla Ball; a brother, Ed McPheron; a sister, Saundra (Bill) Gross; and step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Deborah A. (Short) McPheron; second wife, Elma Manns; sister-in-law, Ginny McPheron.

There will be a private graveside service held at a later date at Spencerville Cemetery. Memories may be shared and viewed by visiting www.baylifffuneral.com. Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville is caring for David and his family.
