SPENCERVILLE -- Dolores Jean DeVilbiss, 91, of Spencerville, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026 at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.
Dolores was born on May 2, 1934 at Turkey Foot Island, Indian Lake, to the late Robert Earl and Hazel Irene (Goodwine) Hanley. She was united in marriage to the late John William "Bill" DeVilbiss on July 6, 1950. Bill passed away on January 10, 2005. Dee and her husband, Bill, were the owners and operators of the former DeVilbiss Egg Company in Spencerville.
Dee also enjoyed bowling, shopping at garage sales, cooking, family gatherings and meeting with her "Silent 12" Club members. She cherished her friend Nell; a dear friend till the end. Dee's lifelong love for her family will never be forgotten.
Dolores is survived by her children, Linda (Gary) Reindel of Delphos, Tom (Dorothy) DeVilbiss of Spencerville, Sue (Doug) Morrow of Rotonda West, FL, Jeff (Tammy) DeVilbiss of Lima; eight grandchildren, Jamie (Tina) Reindel of Delphos, Mandy (Cort) Smith of Rockford, Candy (Andy) Skinn of Norwalk, Cory (Chelsea) Reindel of Van Wert, Alison (Lafayette Williams) Morrow of Clarksville, TN, Sarah (Joe Guagenti) DeVilbiss of Columbus, Mikki (Shawn) Kennedy of Wapak, Kurtis (Taren) DeVilbiss of Spencerville, Sean (Tabby) DeVilbiss of Lima, Kaige (Chasity) DeVilbiss of Alger; twenty-four great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; two siblings, Donald (Jo) Hanley of Lima and Bobby Hanley of Long Island, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, huband, and sister-in-law, Kay Hanley.
There will be a visitation from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville. Visitation will continue from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by her funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026 at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew J. Atkins officiating. Burial will take place following the service at Spencerville Cemetery.
