Joyce was my aunt (my father was her brother Jim) This picture was a fun memory when we went to Outback Steakhouse together for my dads 90th birthday.

Joyce was always to me a ball of Joy and you could never escape laughter when she was around for she loved being silly and cracking jokes and making funny facial expressions.

She was full of life, passion for family, and determined to fight past every obstacle.

One of the last times Joyce was at our house to visit my dad when he was in his last weeks, I will never forget how broken she was and compassionate she was over her (baby brother) who she loved so much.

Even though I was away in different states for decades, the little I saw of her she still made a big impact on me for someone who carried life and laughter and love in her and was always ready to share that to everyone especially her beloved family and extended family.

I will miss her dearly, but will see her again someday in heaven!!

Love you,
Shannon Tormoen
