Joyce Larae Gardner England Miller of Riverdale, Utah passed away peacefully Thursday, October 27, 2022 at the age of 87.
She was born June 17, 1935 in Teton City to Elmer and Mabel Olsen Gardner. She was the youngest of seven children.
She liked school, spending time with family, playing pinochle with her friends and shopping with her friend, Cora.
Joyce met DeVore England, they married March 1955 and had three children. He died March 1989; she then married Earl Miller in August of 1996. He died in May 2010.
She retired from the Internal Revenue Service after working 25 years as a Tax Analyst.
Joyce is survived by her children, Vickie Walling, Bob (Rosemary) England, Shellie (Dennis) Griggs; grandchildren, Casey Cowles, Andria Brown, Craig Cowles, Ginney Cowles, Logan England, Derek England, Christopher Pink and step-grandson, Scott Griggs; 14 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Valora Dolezal of Cupertino, CA. She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, sisters, Vera, Verla and Margie, her brothers, Lyle and Arlan and grandson, Stephen Pink.
The family would like to thank the staff of Legacy House Assisted Living Cottages Memory Care Unit in South Ogden and Dignity Hospice nurse/aide Jasmine and CeCe for the tender, attentive care provided.
Graveside services will he held for family and friends on November 1, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Height’s Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a favorite charity.
