Joyce Moon, a beloved homemaker and cherished matriarch, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025, in Conroe, Texas. Born on April 11, 1942, in Spring Hill, Louisiana, she devoted her life to creating a warm and welcoming home, one that will forever be remembered as a special place for family and friends.
Joyce was known for her vibrant spirit and her love of travel, always seeking to explore new horizons and create lasting memories with her loved ones. Her journey through life was filled with laughter, affection, and an unwavering dedication to her family. She was the loving wife of Erman Moon, with whom she shared fifty-nine years of marriage. Together, they forged a remarkable partnership built on love, respect, and deep companionship.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erman Moon, and her dear parents, John and Eva Stiles. Joyce leaves behind two devoted sons, Erman Manton Moon of Conroe, Texas, and Eugene W. Moon, along with his beloved wife Betsy, also of Conroe, Texas. Additionally, she is survived by her adoring grandson, Robert Moon, who brought immense joy to her life.
Joyce's legacy as a nurturing mother, grandmother, and friend will be celebrated and cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life will be honored during visitation on March 24, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, both to be held at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home, 2001 Nall St, Port Neches, Texas. She will have a graveside service at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, following the funeral service.
In remembering Joyce, we hold dear the indelible mark she left on our hearts and the countless moments that will be forever treasured. Her memory will be a source of comfort and love, shining brightly in the lives of her family and the many friends she made throughout her life. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
