Billie J. McCaleb

Billie J. McCaleb of Port Neches, TX was born April 23, 1934, in Reagan, TX. Bill joined his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and heavenly family on January 23, 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61-years Lill McCaleb; parents J.D. and Josie McCaleb; sisters Charlcie Laws, Gladys Emmons, and Glenda Rhea. Survivors include his sons Brent and Brad, his wife Elaine; grandchildren Chris, Rachel, Noah, Sarah, Ben, his wife Cynthia, Josh, his wife Christa; great grandsons Isaiah and Finley; and great granddaughters Fallyn and Emberly; brother Gary McCaleb; and sister Nona Tarver; and many other relatives and friends.

Bill graduated from Lamar University in 1955 with a bachelor of accounting degree. He met and married Lillian Dolleman in Washington State while serving in the United States Army. During his 37-year career as an accountant, Bill worked for several oil and gas companies until retiring in 1994 as comptroller for Ameripol Synpol Corporation. After retiring he served for several years on the Board of Directors of DuGood Federal Credit Union. As members of First Baptist Church Port Neches, Texas Bill and Lill served side-by-side starting the Young Married Couples Class. He was a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, and choir member. His ministry impacted many lives over the years.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Levingston Funeral Home located at 2001 Nall Street, Port Neches, Texas from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by the service. A graveside service will be held at Oak Bluff Cemetery Port Neches, Texas at 12:00 p.m. At Bill’s request, in lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the ministry of First Baptist Church Port Neches, Texas.
