Joyce Annette Odom, 84, of Blanchester, OH, formerly of Albany, GA, died June 8, 2025 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home. Rev. Gerry Dorre' will officiate. Interment will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Annette was born on June 22, 1940 in McAlphin, FL to the Late John Coley and Rosa A. Prevatt. She grew up in McAlpin Florida and graduated from Suwanee High School. Annette met Lamar Odom in Jacksonville, Fl. and they married in 1960 They moved to Albany, GA in 1972 and Annette was employed with Hasan Shriners as their office manager for twenty six years and was loved by the members. She was very active at Calvary Baptist Church before its closing. Annette enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felton Lamar Odom in 2011, parents John Coley and Rosa A. Prevatt and brother Ray Prevatt.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Greg Rogers of Blanchester, OH, a grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Tyler and Darby Rogers of Morrow, OH, great-grandson, Tyson Rogers, Brother and sister-in-law Randall and Jennifer Prevatt of Fernandina Beach, Fl., five sister-in-laws Melba Vormelker of Paynesville, OH, Evelyn Singleton of Smyrna, Ga, Mildred Schlicht of Alachua, Fl, Margie Brown of Jasper FL and Hazel Odom of Nashville, Ga.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Mathews Funeral Home.
