Joyce A. Paquette

Joyce A. Paquette, 77, of Manchester, NH died on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at the Elliot Hospital, in Manchester, NH, surrounded by her loving family. 

Joyce was born on June 5, 1947, in North Conway, NH, the daughter of the late Carroll and Anita (Paradis) Whittaker. 

Joyce graduated from Manchester Central High School and New Hampshire Community College with her LNA certificate. Prior to her retirement, Joyce was employed as a nurse’s aide and worked for Easter Seals in Manchester. Upon her retirement, she enjoyed taking care of her granddaughter, Morgan. 

She enjoyed knitting, sewing, baking, reading, hiking, kayaking, spending time with her family, and traveling. She loved to visit Rangely, Maine in the summer with her husband and her family. 

Members of her family include; her son, Jason Paquette of Manchester, NH; her daughters, Jacqueline Moore and her husband, Michael, of Antrim, NH; Cathy Noiles of Milford, NH; Lisa Mooers of Grand Junction, CO; as well as 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Maurice A. Paquette who passed away in March 2023. 

SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 4 – 6 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. 

It has been suggested that those who wish, may make memorial contributions to the CICU at the Elliot Hospital in memory of Mrs. Paquette.
