Joyce Marie Pierce was born in Norfolk, Virginia, and relocated to Paterson NJ where she was educated in the Paterson Public School System. Joyce attended Eastside High School of Paterson, and graduated in 1982.
Joyce Marie Pierce was a faithful member and servant of Grace and Restoration Church where she served for many years under the leadership of Pastor, Jerry Wilder. She was an avid prayer warrior and loved the Lord. Joyce would pray for anyone, and would always volunteer her time. Joyce Marie Pierce White, worked for the Paterson Police Department for 25 years as a dispatcher. She was affectionately called, "Jazzy Joyce." She
was the one everyone went to when things needed to be done!
Joyce Marie Pierce, was loved by all. Her favorite food was shrimp scampi. She enjoyed life, and the outdoors. She loved her son Elisha and
would do anything for him. In the words of her son Elisha, "my mom was my best friend."
Joyce was loved by all her family and friends.
