Joyce Lucille Pillen

PILLEN, Joyce Lucille  Age 87, of Rapid City, MI, formerly of Goodrich, died Sunday, June 26, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel with Pastor Rich Pemberton officiating. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Tuesday and 6-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association. Mrs. Pillen was born July 7, 1917 in Saginaw, the daughter of Ezra and Hazel (Smith) Ebach. She married Glen F. Pillen on November 6, 1936 and he preceded her in death on January 13, 2001. Mrs. Pillen retired from Montgomery Ward in 1977. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a great wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother. Surviving are: two sons, Donald V. Pillen and wife, Mary of Swartz Creek, Robert G. Pillen and wife, Doris of Chandler, AZ; four grandchildren, Scott D. Pillen, Michael A. Pillen and wife, Noelle, Tiffany M. (Pillen) and husband, Derek Bray, Katrina Pillen-Steinsultz; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
