Joyce Ann Platz

Joyce Ann Platz, 74, of Monette, Arkansas passed away on December 29, 2024 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on January 27, 1950 in Earle, Arkansas to Willie and Christina (Mays) James. Joyce was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, playing solitaire, reading, filling in her puzzle book and spending time with her family.
Survivors include; husband: Billie Platz of the home; three sons: Michael Dewayne Cole of Trumann, Arkansas, Clarence Platz (Jessica) of Manila, Arkansas, Mitchell Platz (Kelly) of Stanton, Tennessee; three daughters: Linda Luff of Caraway, Arkansas, Sheila Anderson (Larry) of Caraway, Arkansas, Diane Holt of Manila, Arkansas; one brother: Timothy James of Earle, Arkansas; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by; her parents: Willie and Christina (Mays) James; husband: Bobby Wayne Cole; one daughter: Tammy Cole; and one son: Bobby Gene Cole.
Pallbearers: Tim Biggers, Cody Cole, Bobby Wayne Cole, Kenneth Simpson, Gavin Moore, and Clarence Platz.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Monette Cemetery in Monette, Arkansas with Bob Blankenship officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
