Joyce French Pratt

Joyce French Pratt - Age 90, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Born on December 11, 1934, in Newport, Tennessee, Joyce was one of five daughters of Ulyss and Grace French. She later moved to Knoxville, where she met the love of her life, Leroy Pratt. They were married for nearly 50 wonderful years.
A longtime member of Holston Baptist Church, Joyce was known for her deep faith, boundless love for her family, and vibrant spirit. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and energy touched everyone she met. Her spunky personality and zest for life will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved her.
Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leroy Pratt; her parents, Ulyss and Grace French; and her sister, Margaret Seay.
She is survived by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Donnie Chamberlain; her cherished grandchildren, Kelsey Groner (Alex) and Keely Landers (Austin); and her adored great-granddaughters, Avery and Mallory Groner. Joyce also leaves behind her dear sisters: Eva Lee Holt (Jimmy), Kathleen Holt (Bobby), and Marsha Lovelace (Phil).
She was blessed with a close circle of lifelong friends, including Virginia Lee, June and Bobby Oglesby, Betty Pratt, Ruth Cannon, and Mary Lively.
The family will receive friends at Bridges Funeral Home on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Toby Downey officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 p.m. on Sunday, October 19 at Caledonia Presbyterian Church Cemetery for a 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service.
