Joyce Root Obituary
Joyce had a deep love for her family and her happiest times were spent making memories with her family. Her favorite hobbies included sewing, quilting, and reading.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters, Alicia (Jimmy) Edson of Three Rivers and Brandi Konate of Portage, one son, Brandon Root of Lawton, bonus daughter, Brecka (Andre) Walker; four grandchildren, Jami (Garrett) Melville, Kira Harris, Kayla Harris, and Joshua Betley; bonus grandsons, Alex and Andre Walker and two great-grandchildren, Khari and Khalia.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, James and Inez Washburn, and her son, Lance Root.
Cremation will take place and Joyce will be placed to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.

Have some good memories of working with Joyce. Someone you could talk to and she would give you advice and also tell you what she thought. She always made me laugh. She will be missed.
