Joyce Marie Steinbach, 85, of Granton, passed away on the morning of Monday, May 12, 2025 after several years of health challenges. Joyce was born on December 14, 1939 in Greenwood, Wisconsin to Carl and Garnett Bladl. She lived in Granton her whole life and graduated from Granton School in 1957. Joyce worked a variety of jobs in her career, including many years working on the assembly line at Figi's in Neillsville. She was also a longstanding librarian with the Samson Memorial Library (later known as the Granton Community Library) and had multiple regular cleaning jobs. She was very involved with the Granton FFA Alumni, including being a regular volunteer or chaperone for chapter events. She was also a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Granton and was involved with the Granton Rotary Club. Joyce was a fixture in most local parades, riding in the passenger seat of a Model A, driven by her longtime partner Charlie Riedel.

Joyce is survived by 2 sons, Tim Steinbach and Ed (Tammy) Steinbach both of Granton; 3 grandsons, Russell (Tina) Steinbach of Marshfield, Matt (Tera) Steinbach of Stanley, and David (Emily) Steinbach of Granton; 6 great grandchildren, Mataya and Kallen (Russell & Tina), Kaynen & Kroix (Matt & Tera), and Kate and Lexi (David & Emily); brother Richard (Susie) Bladl, Wenatchee, WA; and brother-in-law Dale Wesenberg of Granton. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, partner Charlie Riedel, her sister Joanne Wesenberg, 2 sons Phillip "Chuckie" Steinbach and Gerald "Jerry" Steinbach, and her daughter-in-law Cheryl Steinbach.

The funeral service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Granton at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 16, with a burial and reception to follow. A visitation opportunity will be available from 9:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday, May 16, immediately prior to the funeral service, also at Zion Lutheran Church in Granton.
