Joyce Tague, age 93, passed away on October 21, 2025. She was born September 25, 1932 to Stanley and Mabel (Kelley) Baker in Spirit Lake, IA. On October 5, 1948 she married Oral Tague. In 1952 Oral and Joyce moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa. In 1967 they entered the nursing home business as an owner and administrator in Iowa, Nebraska and South Dakota. In 1980, they moved to Manilla, Iowa and were semi-retired. Then in 2000 they returned to Spirit Lake. Above all, she enjoyed being a mother and a grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by spouse, Oral Tague; daughters, Shelley Dunaway, Shirley Meiners; brother, Terry Kuhse; and several brother and sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Linda (Paul) Geer, Vicki (Duane) Stangl; son-in-laws, Dale Meiners, and Mike Dunaway; 11 grandchildren, Tracey, Jennifer, Tiffany, Jeremy, Zach, Tanya, Jon, Jimmy, Corey, Todd, Chad; 24 great grandchildren, 1 great- great grandson; sister, Janice Purdy; nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, November 9, 2025 with a visitation to be held the hour prior at the funeral home.

The family will direct memorials.
