Joyce Anne Thibodeau

Exeter, NH – Joyce Anne Thibodeau, 81 of Exeter passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
She was born April 24, 1942, in Fort Fairfield Maine where she was raised by her parents Percy and June (Dougherty) Parady.
She was the 6 th born out of 12 children. She is predeceased by her siblings Lester, Percy Jr., Ronald (Ronnie), and survived by Richard (Dickie), David, Patricia (Pat), Carlene, Carol, Jerry, Delbert, and Jimmy.
She met the love of her life Carl, they married on January 17, 1959, and started a family of their own. They left Maine in 1960 to raise the family in New Hampshire.
Joyce was a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family, taking trips to Fort Fairfield and vacationing in Florida. Her other pleasures were BINGO, going to the movies and luncheons with her friends, walks, and attending church. Most of all she really enjoyed being with her family. No matter what she was going through in her life spending time with her family lightened her heart and brought a smile to her face.
She is predeceased by her husband Carl P. Thibodeau Sr. in 2022, and her daughter Carmen
Martin of Dover in 2017.
Joyce is survived by 6 children, Carl P. Thibodeau, Jr. and his wife Dodie of Hampton Falls, Barbara Carleton and her husband Wade of Exeter, Keith Thibodeau and his [fiancé]Tina Daigneau of Barrington, Troy Thibodeau and his wife Diane of Greenland, Craig Thibodeau [partner} Victoria (Tori) of Portsmouth and Nancy Birkbeck and her husband Jack of Brentwood.
Joyce was known as Nana to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Grandchildren; Bethany Smith [husband] Randy, Carl P Thibodeau III [wife] Allie, Ali Thibodeau [partner] George, Emma Carleton [fiancé] Kevin, Bryce Carleton [partner] Lindsay, Derek Lapanne, Christopher Lapanne, Kendra Martin [partner] Nik, Tyler Thibodeau, Cameron Thibodeau, Kelsey Devlin [husband] Brent, Kyle Thibodeau, Cole Thibodeau, Ryan Thibodeau, Travis Birkbeck, Madison Daigneau.
Great grandchildren; Ben Smith, Anna Smith, Kennedy Thibodeau, Quinn Anne Thibodeau, Aidan Lappane, Carmen Lappane, Merisha Lappane, Brady Thibodeau, Trevor Thibodeau, Kai Thibodeau, Sofia Thibodeau.
Nana, we will miss your presence, your love and support, but you will be with us forever in our hearts and our memories.
Graveside burial for Joyce and Carl will be held on May 18 th at 12:00, located at Exeter Cemetery 49 Linden Street Exeter NH 03833. Followed by a Celebration of their lives at Barbara and Wade's home.
