Passed away peacefully on November 19, 2025, at the age of 76. She is predeceased by her parents, Evelyn and Arthur Tanner, and by her parents-in-law, Evelyn and Charles Trippodo. She is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Trippodo; her children, Allan (Jeannine) Trippodo and Kristina (Dr. Robert) Bell; her cherished grandchildren, Addyson and Austin Trippodo and Robert and Evelyn Bell; her sister, Marilyn (Norm) Middleton; and her brother and sisters-in-laws Ronald (Theresa) Trippodo; Sue (Wayne) McNeil; Barbara (James) Burton as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Joyce devoted much of her life to teaching and helping others, she was a 2nd grade teacher in Churchville Chili for 35 years and generously volunteer her time with the Ronald McDonald House and Camp Good Days. Alongside close friends, she also founded “Stamp Camp,” where they created handmade greeting cards to donate to charitable organizations.
Joyces’ favorite memories were the times spent with her family and friends during the holidays. She loved decorating the house, feeding her loved ones and making the day special for all.
Above all, Joyce found her greatest joy in being “MeMe” to her grandchildren, who filled her life with profound love and happiness.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Joyce’s memory to Camp Good Days, the Ronald McDonald House, or Dreams from Drake.
