Joyce Rose (Garrett) Voyer, 93, a longtime resident of Bristol, passed away peacefully into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Bristol Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family and the comfort of a life well lived.

Joyce was born on March 27, 1932, in Richford, Vermont, the youngest of four children born to the late Carmi Edward Garrett and Lucy A. (Bushey) Garrett. From her earliest days, Joyce carried with her a quiet strength, deep faith, and a generous heart that touched all who knew her.

A devoted member of St. Francis de Sales Parish in Bristol, Joyce's faith was a steady and guiding presence throughout her life. She also cherished her time at the Bristol Senior Center, where she enjoyed companionship, laughter, and staying connected to her community.

Joyce found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid knitter, lovingly creating handmade treasures for her grandchildren. She delighted in playing cards with friends and family and looked forward to her occasional trips to the casino, which brought her both excitement and stories to share. One to always look her best, Joyce will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, quick wit and the love she freely gave to those around her.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing, her son Emile, Jr. and his wife Kathleen, whom she lived with and were her devoted caregivers; her son-in-law Marc Gallucci; three beloved stepdaughters Lucille Williams and her husband Carl, MaryAnn Rubel and Yvonne Sandusky and her husband Dave; five stepsons, Lawrence, Jr., Ronald and his wife Corinne, Donald and his wife Norma, Robert and his wife Kim and James and his wife Salena. Joyce was the proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and 20 step-grandchildren. She also leaves many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law in Vermont and Florida, many nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years and the father of her children, Emile Voyer, Sr., two daughters Nancy Gallucci and Loraine LoRouche; her son Andrew C. Voyer, a great-grandson Jordan Dulac, granddaughter Lori Tomlin, and her second husband who she shared five years of love, laughter and companionship, Lawrence Voyer, Sr.
