Joyce Wicklein Obituary
Joyce was born on April 22, 1941 in Encinitas, California. She married the love of her life, Roger Wicklein on July 21, 1958 in Encinitas. Joyce was a devoted wife and mother. She cherished the time she was able to spend at home caring for her children and Roger. She moved with her family to Branson 40 years ago from San Marcos, CA.
Joyce always treated others with kindness. She enjoyed playing cards and board games. She was also very creative and artistic. She painted beautiful ceramic pieces and designed diamond art. Most of all, she loved having her family close and spending time together.
Joyce is survived by her children, Cheryl Mummaw of Branson, Ronald Wicklein of Merriam Woods, MO and Susan Hornbeck of Willard; her brothers, David (Jane) Swaim, Floyd (Sandi) Swaim and Larry (Linda) Swaim; seven grandchildren, Christina Mummaw of Omaha, NE, T.J. (Danielle) Hornbeck of Maine, Kristen (Mike) Harrison of Willard, Robin Hornbeck of Willard, Tammy Wicklein of Branson, Matthew Wickein of Branson and Kend of Nixa along with six great-grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Wicklein; her son, Kenneth Wicklein; parents, Lemuel & Pat Swaim; brothers, Gerald & Wayne; and brother-in-law Lyle Wicklein.
Joyce was laid to rest on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson under the care of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.
