Donald Wayne Vine Sr, 80, of
Centreville, Mississippi, departed this earthly life on January 27, 2026. He is now walking with His Lord and Saviour. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Don was born July 30, 1945, to Benny Vine and Prentice Berryhill Vine in

Don had many jobs in his younger years, from working on the river boats to driving heavy machinery at the paper mill and owning a Sears store. He served the town of Centreville as Mayor for 16 years and was the youngest Mayor at that time in Centreville. He had a passion for the Town of Centreville and wanted to see it grow with industry. Don was the founder and operator of Vine Brothers Meats and Deer Processing for 35 years until his retirement. After retirement, he moved to
Branson, MO for several years and made many lifelong friends who he treasured.
Don would always enjoy his early mornings sitting on the porch with his cup of coffee and his fellowship time with the Lord and nature. When evening would come, he could be found sitting in his chair with a big cup of coffee and watching the news.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, Benny Vine and Prentice Vine, his first wife and mother of his five children, Linda Gail Vine, brothers, Mason Vine and David Vine.
Don is survived by his wife Bobbie Vine, 5 children Wayne Vine, Melanie Windham(Freddie), Benny Vine(Heidi), Barry Vine(Aimee), Caroline Jelen(Brad) and 2 step children Ashley Maxwell and Kyle Cobb(Kaylin), brother Larry Vine and John Robert Hodges and Sam Hodges, 16 grandchildren that he loved dearly, Brooke Lester, Bryce Lester, Brailey Vine, Savanna Vine, Britton Vine, Sylvia Vine, Carson Vine, Dawson Vine, Hudson Vine, Kade Fulbright(Jack), Cameron Jelen, Chloe Jelen, Kendrick Jelen, Carmen Recher, Madilyn Cobb and Colsen Cobb.
