Joyce Rae Williams, 73 of Hitchita, Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at her home in Hitchita, Oklahoma. She was born on February 7, 1952 in Modesto, California to Charles and Wanda (Sparks) Sims.
Joyce married J.K. Williams on August 22, 1968 in Hitchita, Oklahoma and they made their home in Hitchita where Joyce enjoyed being a homemaker taking care of her family. Joyce enjoyed reading her bible, baking and cooking when she could and spending time with her family. Her pride and joy was being with and talking to her grand and great grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles (Bud) and Wanda Sims, sister, Betty Colleen King, grandson, James Neal, brother in law, Richard Leafty, father in law, Clausine Williams and many other cousins, aunts and uncles and Angel baby Sanderson.
Joyce is survived by her husband, J.K. Williams of Hitchita, Oklahoma; Daughters, Shelly Crossland of Tulsa, Oklahoma and JaWanda Neal and husband James of Indiahoma, Oklahoma; Grandchildren Sheli Dawson and husband Chad of Cache, Oklahoma, Jordan Kendrix and husband Austin of Altus, Oklahoma, Sheyenne Neal of Indiahoma, Oklahoma, Jace Crossland and wife Ashlee of Jenks, Oklahoma, Milee Sanderson and husband David of Morris, Oklahoma, Spencer Crossland and wife Lexi of Jenks, Oklahoma; Great Grandchildren, Brantley and Chevy Dawson, Maisyn and Hunter Kendrix, Tinslee Bexlee, Quinnlee and Arlee Crossland, Baby Crossland arriving in September of 2025; Brother, Jerry Sims and wife Lue of Hulbert, Oklahoma; Sister, Glenna Leafty of Willow Park, Texas; Mother in law, Iona Williams of Elfrida, Arizona; Sister in law, Beverly Sue Alvarez and husband Manuel of Elfrida, Arizona, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Chosen family Amy Holmes, Alexis and Garrett Roberts and Blake Holmes.
Viewing for Joyce will be for family only along with private family services and burial.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jace Crossland, Spencer Crossland, David Sanderson, Chad Dawson, Austin Kendrix and Blake Holmes.
