Joyce Annette Windham, 77, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away on January 20, 2025, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. Joyce was born on April 16, 1947, in Kingsland, Arkansas, to Curtis and Agnes (Garner) Morris. On June 5, 1965, she married Edward Murphy Windham, and together they built a loving family. Joyce worked in the development department at John Brown University, where she contributed her time. Known lovingly as "Grammy," she cherished spending time with her grandchildren and was known for her joy in cooking for her family. A devoted member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Joyce found fulfillment in serving her church and community. Her kindness, faith, and warm spirit touched all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Morris; her father, Curtis Morris.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Murphy Windham of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; her son, Michael Curtis Windham and wife, Robbin of Summers, Arkansas; her daughter, Kathryn Annette Harp and husband, Jeremy of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; four granddaughters, Kayce Prater and husband, Colton of Colcord, Oklahoma, Becca Davis and husband, Nick of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Khenli Connolly and husband, Austin of Springdale, Arkansas, and Jaleigh Harp of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; one grandson, Trenton Windham of Summers, Arkansas; two great granddaughters, Kyleigh Prater of Colcord, Oklahoma, and Tres Prater of Colcord, Oklahoma; two great grandsons, Kal-El Prater of Colcord, Oklahoma, and Jaxson Windham of Summers, Arkansas; one sister, Laura Ellison and husband, Bruce of Fort Worth, Texas; one niece, Misty Claunch and husband, John of Little Rock, Arkansas.
A funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A committal service will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
