Ronald William Harris

Ronald William Harris, 80, of Gentry, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born August 29, 1945, in Decatur, Arkansas to Jesse James Harris and Gladys Glee (Dill) Harris. Mr. Harris married Marilyn Janet Dotson on May 31, 1983. Ronald was a car dealer most of his life as well as an auctioneer, and enjoyed sports, especially the Arkansas Razorbacks, animals, racing, cars, gambling, and most of all, his family. Mr. Harris will be loved and remembered by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Janet Harris; his daughter, Leca Jo Harris; his granddaughter, Renee Sutherland; his great granddaughter, Hollyn Davis; his great grandson, Brigham Davis; his mother, Gladys Glee (Dill) Harris; his father, Jesse James Harris.

He is survived by his children, Dale Harris (Beverly) of Gentry, Arkansas, Tina Denny (Tracy) of Colcord, Oklahoma, Penni Harris of Decatur, Arkansas, Shanelle Holt (Kevin) of Rogers, Arkansas, Tony Harris of Rogers, Arkansas; step children, Gary Bennett (Kerry) of Rogers, Arkansas, and Melinda Harrison (Teri) of Rogers, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; his siblings, Margaret Bishop (Gene) of Gentry, Arkansas, Christine Blisard (Dale) of Leach, Oklahoma, Dennis Harris of Decatur, Arkansas, and Kathy Stephens (Terry) of Decatur, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A visitation is scheduled from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at First Assembly of God Church in Decatur, Arkansas. A funeral service is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at First Assembly of God Church in Decatur, Arkansas with a committal service to follow at Falling Springs, Cemetery in Decatur, Arkansas.
