Dennis Michael Reading

Dennis Michael Reading, age 79, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, on August 22, 1946, to Paul and Christene Provost Reading. In 1979, Dennis married the love of his life, Mary Lee Stanley, in Miami, Oklahoma. Mr. Reading proudly served the United States Navy and went on to work and retired at the Siloam Springs Fire Department as a firefighter. Dennis loved watching all Razorback sports. He was a true Razorback fan and enjoyed spending time with his three grandchildren. In his later years, he enjoyed sitting outside in the shade visiting with his neighbors. Dennis will be missed and loved by all who knew him. Mr. Reading was preceded in death by his mother, Christene Provost Reading; his father, Samuel Paul Reading.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Reading of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; his daughter, Kendra Etherton of Rogers, Arkansas; his son, Casey Odle, and significant other, Hannah of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Chandler Etherton and Fiancé, Dakota of Bentonville, Arkansas, Kenny Odle and Fiancé, Kira of Baxter Springs, Arkansas, Kadie Odle, and significant other, Noah Beyers of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; sister, Sherry Gray of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; numerous family and friends.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
