Joyce Zerkle Obituary
MECHANICSBURG – Joyce Marie (Summerfield) Zerkle, 80 of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, passed away on Friday, April 11, 2025 in the OSU Medical Center.
She was born on Sept. 13, 1944 in Spencer, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Bailey W. and Pearl (Boggs) Summerfield.
Joyce enjoyed horseback riding and motorcycle riding. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Lora Fox; two sons, Harold Clinton (Michelle) Fox and Russell Wayne (Nita) Fox; one granddaughter, Natalie Fox and two great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Aleigha Forshey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Richard Zerkle and brother, Joe Summerfield.
Private graveside services will be held for the family in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
The family is being served by SKILLMAN, MCDONALD, VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Mechanicsburg, Ohio.
