Juan nació el 19 de febrero de 1972 en Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, hijo de Santos Martin Lorenzo Rivera y Dominga Juana Gonzales. Más adelante estableció su hogar en Canton, donde fue un esposo dedicado, un padre amoroso y un miembro muy querido por su familia y comunidad. Juan será recordado por su gran ética de trabajo, su buen corazón y su inquebrantable dedicación hacia quienes amaba.
Le sobreviven su padre, Santos Martin Lorenzo Rivera; sus hermanos, Heraldo Lorenzo Gonzalez, Carmelina Lorenzo Gonzalez y Alex Martin Lorenzo Gonzalez; su amada esposa, Dorca Molina Cabrera; y sus hijos, Hilda Lorenzo Molina, Yony Lorenzo Molina, Raquiel Lorenzo Molina, Salomon Lorenzo Molina y Selvin Wosvely Lorenzo Molina.
También deja a sus queridos nietos: Reyli Cortez Lorenzo, Dylan Oliver Cortez Lorenzo, Gidel Adriel Lorenzo Perez, Jayden Lorenzo Cortez, Anny Alia Lorenzo Cortez, Dania Arlet Lorenzo Cortez, Reyner Edison Cabrera Lorenzo y Bresner Eduardo Cabrera Lorenzo.
Honrando los deseos de Juan, sus restos serán repatriados a su patria, Guatemala, donde será sepultado en el Cementerio General Concepción Chiquirichapa.
La velación y los servicios fúnebres se llevarán a cabo el 3 de enero de 2026 en la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día Hispana de Canton, ubicada en 411 Scott Mill Road, Canton, Georgia 30114. La velación dará inicio a las 4:00 p.m., y el servicio fúnebre se celebrará de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m.

Juan Lorenzo Gonzales, age 53, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Northside Hospital Cherokee.
Juan was born on February 19, 1972, in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, to his parents, Santos Martin Lorenzo Rivera and Dominga Juana Gonzales. He later made his home in Canton, where he was a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished member of his family and community. Juan will be remembered for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to those he loved.
He is survived by his father, Santos Martin Lorenzo Rivera; his siblings, Heraldo Lorenzo Gonzalez, Carmelina Lorenzo Gonzalez, and Alex Martin Lorenzo Gonzalez; his beloved wife, Dorca Molina Cabrera; and his children, Hilda Lorenzo Molina, Yony Lorenzo Molina, Raquiel Lorenzo Molina, Salomon Lorenzo Molina, and Selvin Wosvely Lorenzo Molina.
Juan also leaves behind his treasured grandchildren: Reyli Cortez Lorenzo, Dylan Oliver Cortez Lorenzo, Gidel Adriel Lorenzo Perez, Jayden Lorenzo Cortez, Anny Alia Lorenzo Cortez, Dania Arlet Lorenzo Cortez, Reyner Edison Cabrera Lorenzo, and Bresner Eduardo Cabrera Lorenzo.
Honoring Juan's wishes, his remains will be repatriated to his homeland of Guatemala, where he will be laid to rest at Cementerio General Concepcion Chiquirichapa.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on January 3, 2026, at Canton Hispanic Seventh Day Adventist Church, located at 411 Scott Mill Road, Canton, Georgia 30114. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
