Juan Hernandez Zurita, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on September 10, 2025 leaving behind a legacy of hard work, music, and cherished memories.
Born to Policarpio Zurita and Santa Ana Hernandez on May 5, 1950, Juan was a man of many talents and a tireless work ethic. Throughout his life, he built a career as a skilled horse trainer, auto mechanic, and welder, each role reflecting his dedication and hands-on expertise.

His proudest accomplishments in life were raising his children and witnessing them grow into their own, and later, becoming a grandfather, a role he cherished deeply.
Juan is survived by his loving family: his brother, Armando Zurita; sisters, Berta Zurita, Marialena Zurita, and Ricarda Zurita; daughters, Edith Zurita Ramirez and Erika Zurita; stepdaughter, Emma Limón; sons, Oscar Zurita and Armando Zurita; son-in-law, Edgardo Ramirez; daughters-in-law, Hortencia Zurita and Jeannie Zurita; grandsons, Edgar E. Ramirez, Arnulfo Zurita, Hilberto Zurita, Aaron Zurita, Joseph Zurita, and Anthony J. Zurita; and granddaughters, Emily M. Ramirez, Edeliz M. Ramirez, Aurora J. Zurita, Audie E.
