Requiem Mass for Juan Francisco Mendez Jr., age 33, of Naples, Texas will be held at 1:30 on Monday, August 25, 2025, at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 1:00-5:00pm at Curry-Welborn Funeral Home. Juan passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Juan Francisco Mendez Jr. was born July 26, 1992, in Mount Pleasant, Texas to Juan Francisco Mendez Sr. and Delori (Williams) Morales.
He is survived by his mother, Delori Morales, his father, Juan Mendez and mother, Maricela Mendez, his brothers; Mario Mendez, Mitchell Parra, Joshua Herrea, and Jacob Williams, his sister, Kristina Mendez, his children; Shane Mendez, Leonardo Mendez, and Benjamin Mendez, his children’s mother, Morgan Neal.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Matilde and Leonardo Mendez, Benita Gutierrez, and James Williams.

La Misa de Réquiem por Juan Francisco Méndez Jr., de 33 años, residente de Naples, Texas, se celebrará a la 1:30 p. m. del lunes 25 de agosto de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica de San Miguel en Mount Pleasant, Texas. El velatorio se realizará el domingo 24 de agosto de 2025, de 1:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m., en la Funeraria Curry-Welborn. Juan falleció el martes 19 de agosto de 2025.
Juan Francisco Méndez Jr. nació el 26 de julio de 1992 en Mount Pleasant, Texas, hijo de Juan Francisco Méndez Sr. y Delori (Williams) Morales.
