Juan Reyes

Juan Reyes, of White Plains, NY passed away on February 6, 2022. He was 83 years old, just shy of his 84th birthday. As a man that exuded so much love, it's no surprise that he was born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1938.
Juan was born and raised in Puerto Rico. He moved to the Bronx, New York, where he spent most of his working life. He had a son, Juan Reyes Jr and later met the love of his life Rosamaria Cruz. The love between Juan and Rosamaria was unbreakable; they spent over 35 years together. He embraced and raised Rosamaria's son, Cesar Cruz as his own son. Juan enjoyed being a loving father-in-law to Cesar's wife, Lissette Marrero and a grandfather to their daughter, Natisse Marrero-Cruz.
When Juan retired, he moved to Melbourne, Florida with his love, Rosamaria. Juan's warm smile and friendly demeanor were alluring. It didn't take long for him to develop a family of friends in Florida. The bond between his friends grew so strong, some considered Juan as their own father.
In 2018, Juan moved back to New York to be closer to his family. A year later he was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma, a rare and challenging cancer to treat. Despite the cancer diagnosis, Juan remained strong and loving as ever. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
