Juan shared a special bond with his 13-year-old younger brother, Jeronimo, always eager to help him with his schoolwork and cheer him on. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be remembered for his warmth, humor, generosity and kindness, inspiring countless lives with his gentle giant spirit and infectious smile. Juan is survived by his mothers, Lillian Ortiz and Cindi Geller, his birth mother Lina Arcila, and his two brothers, Julian Schwoerer of New Hampshire and Jeronimo Sanchez of Marlboro, NJ. He will be missed beyond measure by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 PM and 6:00–8:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold, NJ 07728. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, October 27, 2025, at St. Clement's Church in Matawan, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Juan's memory to Marlboro Emergency Medical Services www.marlboroems.org.

Juan was so kind, caring, and a joy to be around. We had a blast at the circus, and he was so helpful around my house. Love and miss you tons my friend. Beyond sad. Xoxo
