Christopher Emery Nagy

Christopher Emery Nagy February 5, 1971 - February 4, 2026

Christopher Emery Nagy, 54, passed away peacefully on February 4, 2026, in Charleston, SC. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great friend to many.

Christopher was born in Vineland, New Jersey and adopted by his parents Steven and Erika Nagy. He graduated from Marlboro High School in New Jersey then in November of 1996 he inlisted to serve our country in the United States Air Force as a Senior Airman in the 437th Security Forces Squadron within the Air Mobility Command for a little over 5 years. He served honorably in the Air Force, July 11, 1991- November 8, 1996 in Support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Served in Desert Shield/Storm Area of Responsibility.

While raising his children he worked very hard and was very dedicated to every career choice that he made. Some of those career choices included being a DEA o­cer, working with Frito Lay, he was a manager at Wal-Mart, but his proudest career achievement was working for Mercedes-Benz Vans Charleston where over the course of 7 years he became Shift Leader/Group Lead of Assembly 2nd shift, he will be greatly missed by his MBV family.

No matter how hard he worked, his family was everything to him. He loved his family and would do anything in his power for them when needed. He loved going on vacations with his family, spending time and having fun times with his grandchildren. Chris will be remembered by his family and friends as being one who loved being the "life of the party", bringing fun, smiles, and laughter and making memories. Words alone can not express what Chris meant to those who knew and loved him.

Christopher is survived by his wife, Daresa Nagy; his parents, Steven and Erika Nagy; his brothers, Steven Nagy and William Armstrong; his son Steven Nagy, his daughters, Ashlyn Mishoe (husband Cody), Elisa Wilds (husband Steven) and Riley Nagy; his step-children, Kellie Hosonitz, Kimberly Hosonitz, Brianna Wickline, and Tyler Wickline; his grandchildren, Zander Nagy, Sterling Nagy, Landon Nagy, Gracelynn Nagy, Jakin Nagy, Kinsley Mishoe, Drew Wilds and Silas Wilds; and many members of his loving extended family.

Family and Friends are welcomed to his Visitation and Burial services to be held on: Wednesday, February 11, 2026 1:00 pm Visitation will be at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services located at 281 Treeland Drive, Suite C, Ladson, SC 29456

2:00 pm Graveside Service will proceed to his wife's family's cemetery. Mizell Family Cemetery, Ridgeville, SC for GPS, closest address is 105 Donna Drive, Ridgeville, SC 29472. the cemetery is located next to Woody's Cabin Lane.
