Richard Tubbs

Richard H Tubbs, 76, passed away peacefully at home on Friday September 5th, surrounded by his loving family after a long illness. Richard was born August 7th 1949 in Newburgh NY. He was the son of Harold and Dorothy Tubbs.

Richard, a lifelong resident, graduated from Marlboro High School in 1967 before marrying his high school sweetheart, Marcia, in 1971. Richard worked for local construction, and for NY Central railroad before settling into Cable TV where he worked for 36 years where he retired from in 2018.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years at home, Marcia Tubbs, sons Richard (Jodi) Tubbs of Newburgh, and Daniel (Jennifer) Tubbs of Marlboro, four grandchildren: Michael, Makenzie, Lauren, and Grayson, his brother Donald Tubbs and several nieces and nephews.

Richard was predeceased by his other brothers William and Conrad.

Richie was a family man; a loving husband, father, and grandfather "Pop" as well as uncle and brother-in-law and friend.

Richie always enjoyed a good game of Bocce, corn hole and pinochle. Richie took pride in taking care of his home and lawn and always being the go-to person to fix anything. Richie enjoyed watching tv, especially Judge Judy, Yellowstone and This Old house.

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial service on Monday September 8th from 4-7pm at the DiDonato Funeral Service, Inc 1290 Rt 9W Marlboro NY 12542.
