Juan Torres, 62, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025. He was born on June 24, 1963, in East Chicago, Indiana, to Alfredo Z. Torres, Sr. and Rosa Maria Herrera.
Juan graduated from Box Elder High School in 1981. He was a devoted Catholic and lived his life with faith and quiet strength. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and football; the Colts were his favorite team. He found happiness in the excitement of the races and games he loved.
Juan worked as a street sweeper for Bright Stripes & Sweeping for five years, where he was known for his dedication and strong work ethic.
He is survived by his loving mother: Rosa Maria Herrera Torres; son: Andrew Torres (Maria); grandson: Tristan Torres; sister: Sylvia Rodriguez (Francisco); brothers: Alfredo Torres Jr., Jerry Torres (Heather), and Ricardo Torres.
He was preceded in death by his father: Alfredo Z. Torres, Sr., grandparents: Eduviges & Ramona Herrera, nephew: Orlando Torres; and niece: Cruzita Isel Rodriguez.
Juan will be remembered for his hard-working spirit, his love for his family, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life.
Services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Aaron’s Mortuary, 888 South Main Street, Brigham City, Utah. A Viewing will be from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. A Blessing and Rosary Service will be at 6:00 p.m. followed by a time of sharing memories at 6:30 p.m.
