Juan Zamora

Juan Zamora (June 24, 1961 – December 7, 2025) was a man who found joy in the simple beauties of life and carried a heart full of love for his family. He loved to spend his time in the mountains and by the river, where he felt closest to peace and nature. Fishing and dancing were among his favorite hobbies, and he never missed an opportunity to share laughter or music with those he loved.

Although Juan never attended school, he never stopped learning. When he came to America, he taught himself to understand and speak the English language by watching cartoons and reading many books, determined to learn everything he could. He enjoyed watching the History Channel, Animal Planet, and western movies, excitedly sharing new facts, stories, and unforgettable characters with his family. He loved taking long drives to Arizona, sitting out on the reservation, and soaking in the calm and quiet peace of the land.

Juan had a gift for giving everyone a nickname, a sign of affection that made people feel special and connected to him. He deeply loved his wife, Jolene Zamora, and found his greatest joy simply being by her side.

He was the beloved son of Maria Rangel Lopez and Lorenzo Zamora Rangel and is survived by his loving wife, Jolene Zamora, and his children, Adrian Zamora, Leonardo Zamora, Ana Fernandez, Adriana Zamora, Juan Oswaldo Zamora and Joana Zamora.

He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his curiosity, and the way he brought warmth, humor, and love into every moment.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Larkin Mortuary - Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South in Riverton, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Sandy, Utah.
