Juana Andrea Celeste Jaquez, 79 years of age, passed on Monday, June 2nd, 2025 at the Jersey City Medical Center.
Juana was born on March 3rd, 1946 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Juana was the oldest of seven siblings where three had preceded her in death along with her son Geovanni Sanchez who passed on June 14th, 2015.
Juana was the mother of Juan Sanchez and Geovanni Sanchez and moved as a family to the United States in 1982. Juana was a lovable mother and grandmother, who will always be remembered as a happy person. She was a strong woman, who was very powerful and wise. Juana knew how to make you laugh with all of her many stories of life and he would look at you with great love in his heart. Her loving smile and eyes would always make you feel warm inside. Juana will always be remembered for her happy spirit, she loved dance and be in all of the family gatherings. As a grandmother, her love was endless and would spend all of the time she could with her grandchildren. Juana would give valuable advice to those close to her and talk to them for hours at times. She welcomed those from the extended family with an open heart and as if they were their own family. Juana demonstrated true love, affection and support to them, and they will always remember her for that.
Juana leaves to cherish her loving memory to Juan Sanchez, four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one big family.

Juana nació el 3 de marzo de 1946 en Santo Domingo, República Dominicana. Juana era la mayor de siete hermanos, tres de los cuales la precedieron en la muerte, junto con su hijo Geovanni Sánchez, quien falleció el 14 de junio de 2015.
Juana fue la madre de Juan Sánchez y Geovanni Sánchez quienes se mudaron como familia a los Estados Unidos en 1982.
Juana fue una madre y abuela entrañable, a quien siempre recordaremos como una persona alegre. Fue una mujer fuerte, poderosa y sabia. Juana sabía cómo hacerte reír con sus muchas historias de vida y te miraba con gran amor desde su corazón. Su sonrisa y sus ojos cariñosos siempre te conmovían. Juana siempre será recordada por su espíritu alegre; le encantaba bailar y estar presente en todas las reuniones familiares. Como abuela, su amor era infinito y dedicaba todo el tiempo posible a sus nietos. Juana daba valiosos consejos a sus allegados y hablaba con ellos durante horas. Recibía a los miembros de familia extendida con un corazón abierto, como si fueran de su propia familia sobrepasando barreras como
si hubiera un vinculo consanguineo. Juana les demostró verdadero amor, cariño y apoyo, y siempre la recordarán por ello.
Juana deja para atesorar su cariñoso recuerdo a Juan Sánchez, sus cuatro nietos, un bisnieto y una gran familia.
