Juana Ramirez Martinez, falleció el 8 de enero 2026 en su domicilio rodeada por su familia. Juana nació el 3 de julio de 1949 en Guerrero, México; hija de Refugio Ramirez y Maria Martinez. Juana amaba cocinar en su tiempo libre y siempre tenía una comida lista para todos. Era una firme creyente de que donde puede comer uno, pueden comer dos.

Juana era amante de los animales y siempre pasaba tiempo con su perrita Concha. A cualquier animal que Juana encontraba, se aseguraba de acariciarlo y darle de comer. Juana también tenía una gran pasión por la costura; en su tiempo libre hacía vestidos y ropa para su familia.

A Juana le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos, y celebraba cualquier día festivo o evento posible, incluyendo el cumpleaños de su perrita. Juana tenía un amor inmenso por sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos. Le sobreviven sus hijos Martha, Blanca, Theresa, Roman, Miguel, y Juan. Sus nietos Francisco, Maria, Victor, Lidia, Alberto, Isabel, Jesus, Emmanuel, Daisy, Christian, Roman, Laura, Roberto, Arely, Miguel, Paola, y Aurora; y muchos bisnietos.

Juana dejará una huella imborrable en todos los que tuvimos la bendición de conocerla. Su amor, su generosidad y su alegría vivirán por siempre en nuestros corazones. Su santa misa será el sábado, 24 de enero 2026 a las 11:00 am, en la Iglesia Sagrada Familia, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085. Nuestro más sentido pésame para toda su familia. Juana Ramirez Martinez, passed away on January 8, 2026 at home surrounded by her family. Juana was born on July 3rd, 1949 in Guerrero, Mexico; the daughter of Refugio Ramirez and Maria Martinez. She loved cooking and always had a meal ready. She was a firm believer, where one could eat, two could too.

Juana was an avid lover of animals, she cherished her lifelong companion, dog Concha. As an animal lover, she would find herself providing food and shelter to them. She also loved sewing and would often make dresses and clothes for her family.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and celebrating any festivity or event, including her puppy's birthday. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Martha, Blanca, Theresa, Roman, Miguel, and Juan. Her grandchildren, Francisco, Maria, Victor, Lidia, Alberto, Isabel, Jesus, Emmanuel, Daisy, Christian, Roman, Laura, Roberto, Arely, Miguel, Paola, and Aurora; as well as many great grandchildren.

Juana leaves her legacy behind with all those who had the pleasure of meeting her. Her love, generosity and positive spirit will live within our hearts forever. Her funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 450 Keller Avenue, Waukegan, IL 60085. Our heartfelt condolences to her entire family.
