Juanita Blevins Obituary
Juanita Meeks Blevins, age 81, of Trenton, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025 at her home.
A funeral service to celebrate and honor Juanita's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 25, 2025 in the Larry Moore Memorial Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Chaplain Sam Reese officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Trenton Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 and on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
Juanita was born on November 26, 1943 to the late Clyde and Lucille Meeks and has resided in Dade County for many years. She retired in 2004 following a dedicated career as a science teacher with the Dade County School System. Besides her passion for teaching, Juanita enjoyed flower gardening, feeding hummingbirds and reading her favorite books, including Chicken Soup for the Soul and Readers Digest. Family was the love of her life, especially the memories made with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, John Meeks, Charles Meeks and Evelyn Kemp.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Amanda (Chris Beckwith) Conwill; brother, Garland (Diane) Meeks and two grandchildren, Lily and Dean Conwill.
Juanita's memory and legacy will forever be remembered in the hearts all who had the privilege of knowing her.
