Juanita Dees

Juanita Dees, age 75, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, in Plainview. No services are scheduled at this time. Per her request, her body was donated to Texas Tech University Health Science Center Willed Body Program. Arrangements are under the care of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview.

Juanita was born on September 2, 1950. There is no recording of her original parents as she became an orphan when she was three years of age. She was adopted In May of 1957 by Christine Virginia Dees and Morlow Mullen Dees.

Some of Juanita's hobbies included crocheting Afghans for her friends, collecting ceramic frogs and growing different types of Ivy plants. She was very creative in storytelling by virtue of making people laugh and creating Happiness.

Juanita's surviving relatives are her brother, Richard Dees, sister, Jeanette Dees, oldest son, Michael Patton, and son, Vernon Patton.

She is proceeded in death by her adoptive father, Morlow Mullen Dees and her adoptive mother, Christine Virginia Dees.
