Juanita Bevers Ransom, 95, of Ballinger, Texas, passed away peacefully at her residence on July 5, 2024. She was born in Bradshaw, Texas to Author A. Bradshaw and Sarah Maude Fields Bradshaw.
Juanita will be remembered for her caring nature, compassion, and unwavering dedication to caring for others. She was a devoted mother and dedicated LVN, but above all, she was a dedicated, faithful Christian who loved the Lord with all her heart. Juanita would drop whatever she was doing if someone was in need, whether that was for prayer or to lend a helping hand.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, Author A. and Sarah Bradshaw, brother Truit Bradshaw, brother Kenneth Bradshaw, sister Louise Adair, brother Author Bradshaw, and one son Gary Bevers. She is also preceded in death by her first husband, John Spencer Bevers, her second husband Gilbert Jackson, and her third husband King Rhodes Ransom.
She is survived by one daughter Kay Schumacher, of Waco, Texas, son Leland Bevers and wife Darla, of Corpus Christi, Texas, son Arnold Bevers, of Ballinger, Texas. Juanita will also be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Gary, Candace, Carl, and April, as well as eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her nieces, Sammie, Bettie, Rhonda, Recca, and Shayne, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Jesus Christ Church in Ballinger, Texas. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to Meals on Wheels or a charity of your choice in Juanita's memory.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to caregivers Susie Bryan, LuAnn Moore, and Judy Dunn for their incredible loving care of Juanita.
