Juanita Schmitz
(Nee Rodriguez)
A cherished soul, was called to her eternal home on December 19, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on April 15, 1932, in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, Juanita was a beacon of love and faith throughout her remarkable life. She entered into rest in
Milwaukee, WI, after a valiant journey with dementia, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and devotion.
Her selfless nature was evident to all who knew her, as she put the needs of others before her own. Juanita's kindness was as boundless as her faith, touching the hearts of those around her and leaving an indelible mark on her family.
She was the wife, sweetheart and lifelong love of James Schmitz. Although she now joins her predeceased, beloved son, Jason, in Heaven, her memory will live on through her surviving children, Christopher and Jennifer. Each of them carries a piece of Juanita's loving spirit, which she nurtured with every embrace and word of encouragement. She had an indescribable and special bond with each of her three children.
Juanita's life was one of service, not only to her family but to all who had the privilege of crossing her path especially her children's friends. Her home was always open, a sanctuary of warmth and generosity.
As we bid farewell to Juanita Rodriguez Schmitz, we celebrate the life she led and the countless ways she enriched our lives. We take solace in knowing that she is now in the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father, free from the earthly constraints of her final years. Her spirit, a blend of love, selflessness, and kindness, will continue to guide and inspire us.
As we gather to remember Juanita, we give thanks for the time we were blessed to have her among us. We commend her soul to God's loving care and celebrate the assurance that she has found peace and joy everlasting. She is now home. Juanita Rodriguez Schmitz will be deeply missed yet forever remembered.
