Juanita Skaggs

Juanita Faye Skaggs, age 84, of Ash Flat, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, March 7th. Juanita was born on December 15, 1942 in Lunsford, Arkansas to parents Otis and Sallie Elkins. Juanita was a teachers aide for the Bay school district in Bay, Arkansas for 10 years where she loved helping and teaching children, and she was also a faithful member of Highland hills Missionary Baptist Church in Highland, Arkansas.

Juanita is survived numerous her husband Ronald Skaggs of Ash Flat, AR; sons Barry Skaggs of Hardy, AR and Shannon Skaggs of Ash Flat, AR; daughter Christy Renee Travis of Bono, AR; grandsons Michael Travis (Madison) of Jonesboro, AR and Matthew Travis of Bono, AR; great-grandchildren Charlotte Travis of Jonesboro, AR and Zane Hopkins of Jonesboro, AR; niece Tracey McMasters of Bay, Area; and a host of friends and her church family at Highland Hills Missionary Baptist Church in Highland, AR.

Services for Mrs. Juanita will be held on Thursday, March 12 at at Highland Hills Baptist Church with visitation being held from 10:00 S.M. to 11:00 A.M., with funeral services starting at 11:00. Interment will be held later that afternoon at Macey Cemetery in Monette, Arkansas at 3:00 P.M.
