Juanita E. Story, a dedicated Histological Technician, gracefully passed away on July 23,2024, with her family by her bedside, at St. Elizabeth Hospice, Edgewood. Born on April 15, 1938, in Dayton, KY, Juanita touched the lives of many with her kindness commitment to her work.
She is survived her loving daughter Jill Rechtin; cherished sister Dawn Kelley (Charles); grandchildren Chris (Mandy), Tyler, and Danyelle; and great-granddaughter Emma. Juanita is preceded in death by her husband James Story, son Andrew Story, sister Deanna Ferguson, mother Edna Schwaller Luthringer, and father Philbert Luthringer.
A Visitation to honor Juanita's life will take place on July 29, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel B in Taylor Mill. This will be followed by a Funeral Service at the same location at noon on the same day.
Juanita will be remembered for her unwavering dedication to her profession as a Histological Technician and for the love she shared with her family. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
