Jude James Eichas

, age 89, of Brockport, New York, while wintering in Haines City, Florida, entered into rest on Thursday, January 6, 2022. Jude was born June 16, 1932 in Hilton, NY. He was the nineth child of thirteen born to George and Magdaline (Thumm) Eichas.
Jude was a lifelong member of St. John The Evangelist Church in Spencerport, New York, where he served as an altar boy for over 1,000 masses. Jude worked as a millwright at General Motors for thirty some years.
Jude was predeceased by his daughter, Kristine; his brother, John; and his sisters, Margaret Morrill, Anna Eichas, Viola Almeter, Rita Maynard, Theresa Blodgett and Jane Eichas.
Jude is survived by his wife, Anne Eichas; his sons, Gary (Stephanie) Eichas, Wayne (Janet) Eichas, Jude (Cheery Mae) Eichas; his daughters, Gail (John) Kettles, Michele (Dave) Newman; his brothers, George Eichas, Art Eichas, Bob (Maria) Eichas, Chuck Eichas; and his sister, Mary Eichas-Gavigan; Jude also leaves 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jude was nicknamed Oscar as a kid and was the family jokester throughout his life. He loved his family, faith and friends and they loved him.
